You don’t need to wait for a new course to begin. Our puppy classes operate as a rolling programme, allowing fully vaccinated puppies to join as places become available. The course combines reward-based foundation training with carefully managed opportunities to learn around different dogs and people.

WHAT YOUR PUPPY CAN LEARN
Give your puppy a strong start in training
The course provides six one-hour group training sessions, helping you establish the skills, confidence and responsiveness your puppy needs as they grow. Each group is supported by 2-4 instructors, providing plenty of individual guidance while you and your puppy benefit from training alongside others.
Training can include:
- Recall and responding to you
- Loose-lead walking
- Focus and engagement
- Sit, down, wait and stay
- Appropriate socialisation around other puppies
- Calm behaviour around people and distractions
- Impulse control and steadiness
- Handling and everyday manners
- Rewarding wanted behaviour consistently
- Retrieve and steadiness foundations for future working dogs
You will learn practical techniques to continue using between sessions, helping your puppy develop good habits both during training and in everyday situations.
HOW THE COURSE WORKS
A flexible six-session rolling programme
Sundays 10am – 11am
The course includes six weekly one-hour training sessions. If you need to miss a session, you may move it to the end of the original six-week course period, provided you give us at least two days’ notice. Up to two missed sessions can be carried forward in this way. All six sessions must be completed within a maximum of eight weeks from your starting date.
Courses operate as a rolling programme, with puppies joining and completing their training each week. This avoids unnecessary waiting lists and gives puppies valuable opportunities to train and socialise alongside different dogs during this important stage of their development.
Training sessions take place predominantly in our large, secure outdoor training pens, giving puppies space to learn around sights, sounds and distractions they could encounter in everyday life. We also have an indoor training area, allowing classes to continue throughout the year and in all weather conditions.

Notes:
Any puppy attending a training session must be fully vaccinated and in good health. Handlers should bring lots of their puppy’s small favourite treats with them. When attending courses please park in front of the hay barn. Do not drive or park on the grass within the farm limits.
